93pts James Suckling

Really perfumed with violets, lavender and dark cherries. The medium- to full-bodied palate has firmness, chewy tannins and subtle fruit underneath. From organically grown grapes. Better from 2026.

92pts Jeb Dunnuck

The 2019 Brunello Di Montalcino Riserva pours a saturated red color and is spicy and ripe on the nose with aromas of menthol, Christmas spice, black cherry, and cedar. The palate is full-bodied, with gamey mineral richness, building, ripe tannins, and a snappy lift of acidity on the finish. It's a robust wine to enjoy over the coming 10 years.

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with deep aromas of ripe red fruit and warm spice. On the palate, it makes an immediate impression, revealing layers of raspberry, blackberry, licorice, and a subtle minerality that glides over tannins refined by long aging in large casks. Bright acidity and savory depth carry the wine into a long. persistent finish.

About the Wine

Brunello Riserva is born from the careful manual selection of the best bunches, harvested only in the best years. For us, the concept of Riserva indicates a superior category wine that begins its journey from the vineyard. From its birth it has been a wine with unique characteristics of power, elegance, breadth and austerity.

Winery Notes

Winemakers for generations. The Terzuoli family has been producing wine since the 17th century, passing down their knowledge and experience.

The family has always personally managed the grape production, vinification, and wine aging to ensure the highest quality in every bottle.

Looking to the future without ever forgetting the past. Technological innovation and respect for tradition are the secrets to producing quality wines.
