The palate is full-bodied, with gamey mineral richness, building, ripe tannins, and a snappy lift of acidity on the finish. It's a robust wine to enjoy over the coming 10 years.

On the palate, it makes an immediate impression, revealing layers of raspberry, blackberry, licorice, and a subtle minerality that glides over tannins refined by long aging in large casks.
